The sand worms are fully cultured in a large enclosed fishless facility with filtered sea water circulating throughout the system and routinely enriched with high quality organic materials.
Freeze-drying preserves nutrients like proteins, vitamins, and minerals that may be lost in other drying methods. It also renders the worms easier consumption by fish and shrimp. Their small size allows for easy incorporation into pelleted or extruded feed formulations

Best Before: Between 18 months of opening. Keep out of direct sunlight. Store below 25°C. Freeze to preserve quality past 6 months, see label on food packaging.
Feeding Instructions: Feed the amount fish consumes in 2 minutes. Do not overfeed. We recommend pre-soaking the worms in tank water to prevent it floating in the aquarium.

AQUABYTES only ships items domestically across Australia. Delivery of products will be sent out on Monday & Tuesday morning.
Order Cut-Off Times:
- Sunday 7pm (AEST) → Delivery on Monday
- Monday 7pm (AEST) → Delivery on Tuesday
Domestic Shipping (Australia): All Orders via Express Post (1–4 Business Days) with tracking ID.
IMPORTANT: Due to state restrictions, we do not ship live goods to NT and TAS. For WA orders, please contact us before placing an order- as restrictions, permits and inspection fees may apply.
Please note that delivery times are estimates according to Australia Post, delays beyond our control can occur.
Live goods
In the event of extreme heat or weather events between origin and destination, we may contact you to hold the order until the weather is suitable for shipping. Upon request we may send the order despite bad conditions, but this will void our DOA Policy. In events where extreme events happen despite our best efforts, DOA policy is still valid to claim.
It is recommended to have someone present at home or to send it to your work address to receive and check the live animals sooner.
PO Boxes are not suitable for receiving live animals, and cannot be covered by DOA policy.
