Microworm Culture - PANAGRELLUS REDIVIVUS
Microworm Culture - PANAGRELLUS REDIVIVUS
Microworms (Panagrellus Redivivus) are a tiny roundworm that are essential first foods as they grow to only 3mm in length and stay active in the water for up to 12 hours.
Microworms are simple to culture, inexpensive to maintain and can last for a month before a new culture needs to be restarted. For fish-breeders who are considering an alternative to baby brine shrimp, microworms are perfect choices.
Order will contain the following:
- ESTABLISHED Microworm culture (~100g)
- Microworm dry-starter mix (ONE month food supply)
- Care guide
Nutritional-wise, it has been reported that microworms are 76% water and 24% dry material. The dry matter contains 40% protein and 19.5% fat. This high fat content makes them a particularly attractive food source for larval fish. AQUABYTES-Microworms are further enriched with other vitamins and fatty acids to ensure a more well-rounded nutrition profile.
